Ready to Rock and Roll

I will be arriving in Costa Rica in a little more than 12 hours. I'm so excited. I'm packed (well almost---final touches are necessarily). I've said my "See You Soon"s to my friends and family. ONE BIG PROBLEM: I have a horrible case of laryngitis and bronchitis. I have been getting worse as the days go on. I have seen a doctor and I'm medicated. I'm crossing my fingers that by tomorrow morning I will be all sunshine and rainbows again. And if that's not the case I just hope they don't turn me away once I get to Costa Rica ;)

So in preparation for leaving, I've dropped my cats off with my parents and had a wonderful send off dinner with them. I've transferred all the necessarily files (music mostly) to my laptop. I need to bring some "expressions from home" so I've loaded up my digital photo frame for all my new friends to check out. I have all the clothes, shoes and travel essentials one could possibly ever need. I have purchased more OTC drugs in the past week than I have in the past year. Better safe than sorry, right? And considering my present coughing and squeaking condition I'm packing lots of tea and airborne in my carry on. I've updated my IPOD with all my favorite tunes and the latest pod-casts in learning Spanish. And I've managed to keep all this in one bag that I will check and one that I will carry on. I'm frickin' amazing.
